Black Powder "The Bloody Cornfield"

As a church, Living Hope Alliance wanted to take a game on the road to showcase at a community event to let young and older adults know that our group meets every Thursday night to play table top games.  So we designed a very simple 4 foot by 4 foot table to demonstrate the "Bloody Cornfield."  It was small black powder scenario to try to demonstrate the back and forth of the battle in September of 1862.  Aidan and James Traded off being the Confederates while many kids took their turn to play the Union Army.  Fighting for the freedom of the slaves.

I got to use my first "cornfield/wheatfield" terrain piece for this game.  The battle was intense and many kids loved playing a turn or two during this festival. In the end the kids beat Aidan and James and the Union successfully secured the Bloody Cornfield.  Black Powder was great for this because its a fist full of dice game and kids love throwing tons of dice.
