Protect the Hut, "Middle Earth SBG"

We played Middle Earth SBG the scenario is the forces of Good are protecting poor stabbed Frodo inside this thatch hut.  Strider and Legolas with a few warriors are controlled by Donavon.  Gimili and Gandalf with their warriors are controlled by myself.  The forces of Evil are trying to burn the hut down.  James has a mountain witch king of Angmar while Kenny has a troll chieftain leading his orcs.  There is a small possibility that the forces of evil will be reenforced by a pack of wargs.

We had the forces of good deploy on the table to protect the hut while evil had a random deployment,  The sides of the table were aligned 2,3,4,5 with a 1 being missed deployment and a 6 is deploy where you want.  The Evil forces deployed in the worst possible spot for the forces of good...  this was a battle from the start. But thankful for Gandalf and his abilities. would help keep Kenny's forces at bay so Donavan could defeat James forces along the creek.

Though James helped with some foolish moves by his orcs.  One died falling out of a tree and one drowned in the river.  Stupid rolls of 1.  Though his hero, the witch King used his black dart to kill Legolas and another archer on the roof of the hut.

The Battle got intense.  Gandalf kept keeping Kenny's forces back while the fate of the game was decided by James and Donavon.  The melee broke out and Strider not just held his own but slaughtered the orcs in his front.  Clearing the way to flank Kenny's forces.  Meanwhile Kenny's Orc Chieftain killed 2 of my men and sent me into morale checks because of falling below 50% forces.  However, Donavon swept Kenny's forces up.  The Witch King ran from the field failing a morale check and the Troll after killing my men fled the field.

This left Kenny with only 1 poor Orc Archer.  And a swift spell from Gandalf sent him back to the abyss ending the battle and saving Frodo.  This is Donavon's First win!!!!  Great job Donavon.  We will miss you.
