Back to war-game reports.

My son, the dice goblin, helping me get ready for our game of Achtung Panzer Panzer.  This is our second week playing Achtung Panzer.  With some experience playing the game we are ready to put our skills to the test as tank platoon commanders.  Both Spencer and myself are playing Panzer III platoons.  Kenny is playing M-3 Lee Platoon and Mark is playing a Sherman Platoon.  

 

Mark and Kenny start the game off trying to advance towards the cemetery Hill.  Kenny made a mistake and exposed one of his lead tanks to my Lead Panzer III.  I took aim and destroyed the Lee with little trouble.  After rolling, only Kenny's Driver was KIA and the Tank Commander and Gunner bailed out to fight another day.  Because the battle had begun, Marks gunner on his lead tank tried to rush loading his tank when misfortune in loading led to his gunners death in a loading accident.

Mark and Kenny still pushed forward.  Spencer kept Kenny occupied on the German right.  Spencer fired 3 shots and missed all three.  I kept Mark busy on the left, one of my shots damaged marks current on his second Sherman Killing his Gunner in the 3rd tank.  Mark got a shot off and destroyed the tracks on my lead Panzer III.  No casualties.  The Americans then began to disengage from the battlefield.  Hoping to fight another day.
