Multi-week black powder game.

 It has been months since we have played a lot of games.  Part of that is we have a new gaming space.  Meeting in our church for the last 4 plus years was great but We could never play out games to completion.  There is now a space large enough in my home to play out games that take 2 or three weeks.  This is the result of the first of many games like that.

We converted an old ping pong table to a large table top game table.  James and Kenny were week 1 French and Mark and I are week 1 British and Prussian.  The first week was about positioning on this large gaming table.  Mark and I picked a stream to be our defensive line with some buildings to anchor the center.

James and Kenny decided to march on three axis.  James controlled their left and Center while Kenny controlled the right flank.  Kenny tried crossing the stream infant of Mark's British battalions and lost his entire corps.  James maneuvered a lot but stayed away from my Prussians.  that ended week 1.

Week 2 was much bloodier.  James crossed the river and bloodied my Prussians and his grand battery on the large central hill was a problem.  So mark led a massive cavalry charge and silenced the guns.  But attracted the attention of Spencers French reinforcements.  So I charged my Prussian reserve to support The Cavalry swirl ended in a British victory which also stopped James attempt to take cemetery hill.  In the end.  12 French battalions of Infantry destroyed or fled, 6 battalions of French Cavalry an 12 French batteries captured or destroyed.  

Though we were victorious it cost 1 British infantry battalion.  4 batteries of Prussian and British guns.  2 British Cavalry Battalions but most of my Prussian Infantry died or fled from battle.  A very bloody battle indeed.
