"Hunting Pirates" Black Seas

 

This Game of Black Seas has Mark as the Pirates, James as the French, Spencer as the Americans, Kenny the British and I was the Spanish navy.  The game is a simple game.  Mark as the pirates has 90 minutes to survive.  Our job is to try and capture one of his ships.

In turn 2 Mark sets on of Kenny's Ships on fire while hitting the rear of Kenny's fleet and taking out its captain.

Mark masterfully evaded Kenny and my fleet.  His Pirate base sets one of James Ships on fire.  With only one turn left to go it seems Mark will escape and win the game.  Mark's Maneuvering kept Spencer out of the game completely.  The American Navy played no role in the outcome of the game.

Yet James small little brigand.  The little boat that could rammed Mark's rear guard and tried to capture it on the last turn.  All Mark has to do is roll anything but a one.....well he rolled a one and Mark lost his rear guard ship. James as the French won the game!
