Brothers Table Top Convention.

This year, my brother and I could not go to historicon so we had our own mini game convention.

The morning game was Avalon Hill's Battle of the Bulge Game.

I have always wanted to play a classic war board game and got this for my Birthday.  So Jonathan played the Germans and I played the Allied forces.  This game was unpunched so it was basically brand new.  We played the beginner scenario that would take place from December 16 to December 21 of 1944.

It was a great game.  Jonathan rolled very poorly in the beginning of the game which was the key to the American's bloody victory.  In the end.  The Germans only just reached Bastogne on December 21st.  Though the Germans suffered little in casualties, the American sacrificed blood for time to win the scenario by points.

Our Afternoon Game was some blood and plunder at sea.  We haven't laughed so hard as Jonathan pulled so of the most Jack Sparrow pirate garbage I have ever seen.  If you don't know my brother, he likes to find the hole in the rules and exploit every square inch of it.  So let say he did.  After 2 hours we ended the match with no clear victor but 2 battered ships and 1 good time.

And yes my poor ship was set ablaze.  Poor Blackbeard.
